God
is not
a nice guy
nor
gender specific
but
like most of us
has his moments.
We all know
people
like that
who do almost
as much harm
as good
God
at work
in
his own image
struggling
with the role
of reflecting
something
greater than
itself.
There is
no end
to this
regardless of
who
thinks whom
has died
though
having sailed
into
the rough waters
of
diminished recognition
there is
a terrifying
rudderless feel
in the lifeboat.
If
we do not
go overboard
or eat
one another
alive
we may get
a clearer
more useful look
at
who we are
that
we have to
make do with.
