I heard about
a man
yesterday
unmarried
and
without children
never wanting to be
tied down
who looks
much younger
than his years
living in
a tropical paradise
doing
each day
as he pleases
moving
contentedly along
as he puts it
in the slow lane
and
while I can imagine
such a man
he is a creation
so different
from myself
that
I can
without envy
wish him the best
and move on
in the direction
of my own
earthly paradise.
